L.O.V.E. Practice

Falling in Love with Yourself

The L.O.V.E. practice is designed to guide you into self-awareness, compassion, and love. So often, we move through life waiting for someone else to fill the gaps within us. This practice reminds us that the love we seek externally has always been within us, waiting to be cultivated.

This isn’t a one-time exercise, it’s a practice. Over time, the love you cultivate for yourself becomes the foundation for how you relate to others and the world.

“Love is the willingness to meet yourself in your wholeness, in light and shadow alike.” – Maria Pareo

Find Your Rhythm

Find your Window of tolerance

We all have a unique frequency, our own rhythm of presence.

Sometimes we’re above it (hyperaroused), sometimes below it (hypoaroused). Like a radio, when life gets noisy, the signal can blur… yet the song is always there, waiting to be heard again.

Today’s practice is a simple way to return to that inner rhythm.

EFT Tapping

Emotional Freedom Technique

EFT is a playful, simple, quick and effective way to calm intense emotions, states of overwhelm, shock, stress and discomfort by stimulating the gradual release of blocked energy.

Discharging the accumulated energy facilitates relaxation and promotes a state of calm and well-being in which we can understand and accept our feelings with naturalness and love.

What is a non-presence state?

Abstract design with three blue circles and the words "Right Here Right Now" on a white background.

A state of non-presence is when we are not involved in the reality that happens at the moment. We feel uninterested, detached and removed without even noticing it. We also feel floaty or dreamy, like we have being driven by the auto-pilot from one place to the other.

We feel passive and confused, often at the mercy of events and situations. We live/act mechanically, feeling dissociated, alienated and distant.

The reason for which we cannot or do not want to be here can be unique, and so is our personal history; it is therefore essential, whenever possible, to investigate the causes of the uprooting or lack of presence individually and an external perspective can help us break this vicious pattern.

There are five main dimensions of the self, and each level connects to specific functions of the being:

  1. The physical level: sensations and physical responses. Body language and messages through pain and illness.

  2. Mental level: thought forms, limiting self-belief and dreams; neurological responses to stress and hyper mental activity.

  3. Emotional level: feelings, emotions, inner child work and self-regulation. Exploring dysfunction within family dynamics.

  4. Energetic level: subtle feelings, perceptions, unknown beliefs, auric bodies, conscious and unconscious mind.

  5. Spiritual level: higher beliefs, inner shadows, soul's wounds, higher-self perspectives and broader exploration of life's events.
